About me…hmmm….
I’m a former journalist who has sold her soul to the dark world of PR, and I like to think I am a happy person, although my wonderful husband would probably cite my love of worrying as evidence to the contrary! We share our lives with our lovely dog, who I recently described as “my gorgeous baby” on live radio, to everyone’s great amusement…
I believe in love at first sight and that things happen for a reason. I don’t like late nights much. I love the smell of cinnamon and vanilla. If you put a magnet next to iron filings I’ll probably run off shrieking. I like trees, the countryside, and peace and quiet. I want to start have just started horse riding again. I hate losing things. I love reading and writing. I’m interested in religion and spirituality. My favourite film is Labyrinth, my favourite song is Who Knows Where The Time Goes by Fairport Convention and my favourite book is High Fidelity by Nick Hornby.
So that’s me, kind of.
You don’t know me, but I adore pink sunshine, pink skies, pink clouds… pine rainbows enveloped in red clouds… when I was decideding whether to blog about my journey with Epilepsy I came across your blog “searched pink sky” and found you. I read your story and think of you often. I’ve recently come out on my blog, even on FaceBook in an attempt to put a much needed face on Epilepsy with hopes for more innovative research. My case (head case ~ LOL!) is totally atypical… completely unique… many factors played into things fully manifesting three years ago this past January. It’s been an interesting time… some fun in a way… some, not so. But, just wanted to take a sec for thanking you for your blog… and taking the time to share as you do. Keep up the good work… you will I’m sure inspires others. I’ve some beautiful pink rainbow photos on my blog — one huge one was stretched over my home as well as my mother’s who lives behind me. She’s 89 and suffers for epilepsy and mini strokes. Such a wonderful sight to see. A symbol of God’s promise. Take care. Will stop in again soon.

Oh wow, what a nice comment! I feel like such a slacker for not having checked my blog for three months. That’ll teach me! I hope you are doing well and still finding pink rainbows everywhere
I’ll do a little update on things soon – maybe even tonight.
Keep smiling!
Thank you SO much for your reply. I’ve been worried about you. For some reason I felt a connection the moment I discovered your blog. You helped inspire me. If you get a chance please check out my Angel Power entry, I made last night. Believe you’ll like the color of the sky in the photos. We’re blessed with the most amazing pastel pink skies here in NC. Tonight coming home from the next county above us aka “civilization” LOL… literally the sky was full of pink contrails because the temps are colder up there and it was warm this afternoon. Sometimes when we fly in our hot pink powered parachute we’re flying in pink sunshine… and, you are NOT a slacker. Life just happens and takes us away from things we do to for ourselves. Take care and thanks again for you kind reply.
You’ll have to tell me about your partner in your profile pic sometime. Also, I’ll be doing another blog soon on Word Press. Keeping my current one, but have a cool writing gig that’s finally coming together. It’s between one of my dogs and another doggie. Actually love notes. Gotta learn Word Press, but don’t believe it’ll be too much of a challenge. Least hope it won’t. LOL You keep smiling, too. Take care and God Bless………
